Key Connectionsis a national program designed to connect recent graduates and young professional members with networking and career opportunities across the country. Through a series of annual events hosted by our 50 alumni associations, members build connections and engage with their local communities.
UC Davis microbiology major Madeline Handy is one of twenty students nationally to be recognized with Phi Beta Kappa’s Key into Public Service Award. The award, introduced this year, recognizes students who have demonstrated interest in working in the public sector and possess a strong academic record in the arts, humanities, mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences.

The national office of The Phi Beta Kappa Society is seeking writing interns to help publicize the work of the Society and write stories about our alumni members. Applicants must be new members of Phi Beta Kappa within their first or second year to be considered for this position.
Literary scholarship at the nexus of human rights and climate change has earned English major Jumana Esau ’20 a prestigious Gates Cambridge scholarship. Esau was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as a junior.
