What is the student membership fee?
Newly elected students must pay a one-time membership fee of $95 to complete their enrollment in the national Phi Beta Kappa Society.
To request a fee waiver, email us at phibetakappa@ucdavis.edu by May 10.
Our Phi Beta Kappa chapter is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. We hold an induction ceremony each spring to welcome new student members into our chapter, Kappa of California. We depend on dues and contributions from PBK Members in Residence at UC Davis and other supporters. These funds are used at UC Davis to cover students' membership materials, ceremony expenses, and fee waivers for some students each year.
